Investigations after the exchange of civil servants with an armed suspect

An investigation is underway after a 9-hour patient situation between a barricaded suspect and civil servants in Leachville took place on Tuesday evening.

Mississippi County, Ark.-An examination is underway after a 9-hour patient situation between a barricaded suspect and official of the Lachville Police Department (LPD) and the Sheriff's Office of the Mississippi County (McSO) took place on Tuesday evening.

According to reports, the officials reacted to a call in a residence in the Elm Street. When they arrived, they talked to someone who said they came from one of the bedrooms in the house.

As a more deputy at the scene, the suspect, who was identified as a 55-year-old Jonathan Mark Robins, opened fire from a bedroom window.

The officials withdrew and called for backups, including the Arkansa's State Police (ASP) Swat, Bomb Squad and negotiator.

Robins allegedly left the house, armed with a knife and a pistol, and ran to the open carport of an adjacent residence.

He fired his gun again and ASP Swat members returned fire and beat him. No law enforcement authorities were violated.

Robins received immediate medical treatment, but was later declared dead in the evening.

The Department of Criminal Investigation Department of ASP will create an investigation file for the public prosecutor of Mississippi County, who will determine whether the application of deadly violence corresponds to the law of Arkansas.
