Involved shooting in Northampton County examined: PSP

The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) examines a shootout impaired by civil servants, which took place in the wind gap Borough on Saturday.

The police say it all started with the pursuit of a vehicle.

What we know:

On Saturday, March 15th at 7:31 pm, Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) said that his team of troop M was activated for a shootout involved by officer in the wind GAP Borough.

PSP according to Forks Township Police and other police stations were followed by Kia in 2016. They were operated by a 65-year-old man from Easton.

During the persecution, PSP said that the Kia was hindered near North Broadway and Tribe Lane.

Then they say that an armed confrontation has taken place where the driver shot himself, and a police officer from the municipality for the community lost his firearm.

After PSP shot the armed driver, the officials provided the 65-year-old man a life-saving medical care.

He was taken by Saint Lukes Anderson Campus by the ambulance, where he was died.

No police officers were injured in the incident.
