iPhone 17 LECK confirms the rear beam design – what is to be expected!

The speculations about the iPhone 17 warm up. This morning, newly published CAD files on Platform X have strengthened a persistent rumor from the past few weeks: the introduction of a strip on the back of the iPhone that was designed for the camera module!

Permanent speculation

The concept of a strip for the camera block on the back of the iPhone 17 has been on the Internet on the Internet for some time – with various design trenders. It all started last December when the digital chat station Leaker triggered the first rumor.

Since then, others have joined the fight, with Majin Bu Cad files that he claimed came from the sources of Jon Proser. Then Sonny Dickson Renderings published by cases in which the camera strip were confirmed before unveiling its own CAD files and giving this possible design shift even more credibility.

Although top analysts like Mark Gurman have not yet commented on this design change, Ming-Chi Kuo pointed to an “ultra-thin iPhone with 6.6 mm”.

Why opt for a strip design?

This choice of draft can treat several technical restrictions. It would release space in the housing and enable more space for advanced comrades and thinner batteries – functions that are always high demand.

If you look at the current iPhone 16 Pro, you can tell that the camera base already goes far beyond the center of the back of the phone. A uniform strip could therefore offer both aesthetic and a functional solution (hopefully with a design that is more sophisticated than the current online renders).

The challenge is to ensure that this new function maintains a visual identity that is unique for Apple and avoids the impression of following the trend defined by Google with its iconic pixel camera.

What we know about the iPhone 17

Apple is expected to present the iPhone 17 line -up in September 2025. According to the latest and most innovative leaks, the iPhone Plus can be replaced by a lighter and more compact iPhone 17 Slim or Air (albeit at the expense of photo functions and battery life). The iPhone 17 Pro Max could contain 12 GB RAM – one first for Apple, probably to increase the functions of Apple Intelligence. There is also talk of reverse lading or 35 -W charging.

So will the camera strip be the most important design revolution of the iPhone 17? We have to wait a few more months to find out, but the leaks are increasingly pointing in this direction.
