Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho received a ban on four games on Thursday from the Turkish Football Convention and a fine of more than 40,000 euros for comments that he had made after an explosive Istanbul derby against Galatasaray.

After the game ended in a 0-0 patent situation on Monday, 62-year-old Mourinho said that the home bank had jumped “like monkeys”.

According to reports, he also repeated his criticism of Turkish referees.

Fenerbahce said Mourinho's comments from the context.

On Thursday, the disciplinary council of the Turkish Football Association (TFF) gave a suspension of two games for his comments against the fourth referee and two additional games for its explosion at the Galatasaray bank.

They were assessed “contrary to sporting ethics”.

Mourinho, whose team trail leader Galatasaray with six points in the table were also taken over a little more than 42,000 euros.
