Judge canceled court appointments for the ex-MSP officer who is charged with murder

Keely had had his pre -judicial conference on March 19 and his legal proceedings were planned for April 21.

Grand Rapids, me. – The former Michigan State Police (MSP) SGT. Brian Keely should be on trial because of murder in the death of Samuel Sterling.

Keely met Sterling on April 17, 2024 with his MSP vehicle. MSP released the dash cam and body cam on the incident, where you can see the vehicle on the side of a Burger King restaurant.

However, Keely's pre -judicial conference and jury negotiation were now canceled without a shifted date.

Keely would have had his pre -judicial conference on March 19 and his legal proceedings were planned for April 21.

An arrangement of judge Hala Y. Yarbou ordered on Tuesday that both courtyard data is “postponed” without date.

Instead, the judge ordered a recruitment for evidence for April 21. Documents were not described in detail for the cancellations.
