Junghans Mega Futura presents the first clock controlled by radio with a modern style

Everything old is new again. Mega 1 published the first radio-controlled clock in the world more than 30 years ago. Now the company has released the Junghans Mega Futura, a modern interpretation of an iconic watch with clean cuts and an asymmetrical form.

The watch has a famous story. The Mega 1 published in the 1990s was introduced with an antenna – a called technology that improved the precision of the watch. Frequencies would be sent by atomic clocks in different cities to set the time. And just like the first model, this model is equipped with extended transmission functions for improved precision and accuracy in a limited edition. The transmission area of ​​the first model was limited to a smaller area, but the Mega -Futura has a large reach and can receive transmissions from North America, Asia and Europe.

There are other similarities between the two watches – especially the unique housing that spreads to the left side. The differences include a more minimalist approach and several functions that use the watch easier, such as: B. a more outstanding display and a easier to read face.
