Jury convicts man of criminal ruthlessness after the incident with anger of Indiana Road anger

Deshawn Moore was involved in an incident on August 16, 2023 with another car in the Walnut Street in Franklin, Indiana.

Franklin, Ind. – A jury of the district of Johnson County condemned a man for criminal ruthlessness and ruthless driving after an incident in Central -Indiana.

According to Johnson County prosecutor Lance Hamner, Deshawn Moore from Franklin was convicted of less than an hour.

On August 16, 2023, Moore was involved in a roadside incident with another car in the Walnut Street in Franklin, Indiana.

The incident began when Moore became “angry” because the driver of the other car almost hit his vehicle when he tried to drive a parked car on the street, the public prosecutor said. Moore turned his vehicle and started to follow the other car. Moore then drove next to the passenger side of the other car and rammed his car into her car.

“The victim did the right thing and called 911,” said Hamner.

The victim then drove around to look for the police while Moore continued to pursue her, said the public prosecutor.

When the police found the vehicles, Moore was alone in his, while the victim had a passenger with them and two small children.

The jury heard statements by the victim, an independent eyewitness, a sheriff by Johnson County and a Franklin police officer.

“This type of dangerous and ruthless behavior is exactly why our taxpayers have built our prison – to protect our citizens from dangerous people who think that it is okay to harass their fellow citizens and endanger their lives on the street . After a significant prison sentence for this defendant, we will ask him to give him a lesson and to keep others from dangerous behavior like this, “said Hamner. Responsible for her behavior.”

Moore will be convicted on April 3, 2025.
