An industry expert has warned that they are faced with criminal records if they take part in the car insurance with the car insurance.

It is a payment that nobody can leave every month, but this car insurance is essential if you want to drive through the United Kingdom on the open streets.

The direct burden also exists to protect you financially if you have a crash and have to claim your own guideline if it is your fault.

However, it can be quite expensive. Especially when you are a newer driver who drives on the British streets in your first one or two years after testing your test. As a new driver, you are considered a higher risk of collisions, and as such, your premiums are increased.

The cost of car insurance

Research this week from Moneysupermarket said that premiums for teenage drivers between the ages of 17 and 19 were at a whopping £ 2,218 for men.

It is a slightly better situation for women with which under two giants at £ 1,965.

There are a few good ways to dismantle this if it applies to them, e.g.

Don't feel like that? They could always see what a named driver added to their guideline at the price. And if you have the money, payment is always cheaper than the monthly directive in advance.

What is 'Fronting' and why is it illegal?

The practice known as “fronting” is when an experienced driver claims that he is the main driver of a car (or another vehicle) that relates to the insurance policy.

In reality, this is not the case, since a younger and less experienced driver increases more often. As the Moneysupermarket says, this is “a serious form of insurance fraud that can have significant consequences”.

According to the money -saving platform, the insurers will make the view that they “procedure” on a directive deliberately lead them to the risks if they insure the vehicle by lying through the main driver of the car to receive a cheaper invoice.

If you have caught fronting, your policy would be invalid and you risk a criminal record and even a prison period, depending on the seriousness of a single case. You will continue to be confronted in the future that you have no form of insurance – and we don't just mean cars.

What did the Moneyupermarket say?

Alicia Hempsted, expert of the Moneyupermarket, said: “With the insurance costs for young drivers who achieve an astronomical level, it is understandable that parents are looking for ways to reduce the costs and help their children take to the streets.

“Unfortunately, what a harmless gap to make premiums more affordable can have serious long -term consequences.

“In many cases, a lawsuit will be made during the investigation of an insurer. This means that parents are hit with a double blow to find out that they are liable for the full costs of the accident, and they could even have a criminal register.

“If you are looking for insurance for a young driver, you should find the best offers and consider a telematics policy to reduce the costs.”
