Kosha Dillz at SXSW: 11 tips from a 43 -year -old musician

From the indie rapper and marketer extraordinary Kosha Dillz at SXSW 2025: I try to find a reason to return to SXSW again and again. I can't believe that time came at that time. I remember that Strumbellas played. I remember that Action Bronson was offered for $ 1200, and I choose someone else for this show for $ 300, who don't even know who it is.

I remember that I played with Noga Erez and was hit by a car after playing in an empty parking space with a phantogram, in the place of the event location, which is now Empire Auti Garage.

But too this year I have a 2-day SXSW experience with a Sunday skater (sober) and maybe a comedy mother ship appearance for 1 minute in my Kill Tony Dream.

Yes. I make SXSW with 43 and feel saner and physically in shape.

Kosha Dillz at SXSW 2025: 11 tips from a 43 -year -old musician

This is easy to read when you are over 40, but also when you are below, because at some point you get to a place where you make your career more relaxed.

  1. I had other people on. Whether you believe it or not, I'm not sure if you do everything you think you will do. I just hope that people come to a great show, and if not, they will come to a great show and find me. The universe offers. It is different if I lose my shit -Oger 600 dollars in printing. I don't want to do it. I let others do it and could do some on Friday. But more therapy is effective for my obsessive disorder. No more mania for me.
  2. Everything is fine when we don't see each other! – I know I would try to meet a million people every two years, but if you meet me, you are lucky and that is my attitude in SXSW. I would like to meet people in Icelandic air waves and the Ukrainian team, but my focus is on creating a great show for the time I have.
  3. New connections in the film -I am finally in my film -Fära and just ended my documentary “Bring the Family Home”, a 60 -minute doc about me who navigated my career while I became famous on the Internet. And how you are authentic for me and my career. The film is a big aspect of SXSW, and the money differs far as simply the Oy Vey show case and beyond. For me it is like my 2008 to pass out for aviation. I can't wait for you to see it.
  4. Less show, more effect – I'm doing this evening at 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Jewboy Burgers Slider Place at the Jewboy Burgers Slider Place. On Saturday, his Oy Vey SXSW with Statics Selectah and Turquoise Jeep and Lyons and Co. Sunday, I do the recovery event in Empire and Monday, the comedy mother ship. SXSW will be over, but what a great way to see who is left. I would like to hike and maybe see a great act that I have never seen before. I would like to see a random artist who approaches me on the street, invites me to her show. I know how much it means when I showed up because I did the same. Let us pass it on!
  5. Make one or two friends and help others – I was always obsessed with my career and what it takes to lose weight. Be friendly and helpful in SXSW and give someone a merch purchase or one in the front row on his show and love his cameraman while I dance.
  6. Call my parents – My people had some massive health fear this week, which destroyed me to be honest. The amount of fear that I came into is massive and I just look at differently. To be vulnerable is something I will do with strangers and friends. I will do my best for FaceTime people who are interested in Austin. You should too!
  7. Document more and do less – I will make a vlog. I will upload more raw film material and sing on the street. I don't have a camera, man, but I'll do it
  8. Enjoy my show Oy vey sxsw – I will often run around. This time I will be in the front row in the front row of all artists I booked. There is this girl that I found on Instagram
and Bridget Lyons (Lyons and Co), an upcoming alternative country start and one of the Dopest rappers in Termanology and Fragilerock, an Emo Puppet Rock Band from Austin!
It is important to enjoy. I was not sure if I would make it at all because my father read his will and offered me his costco card before the operation (emotional Jewish moment), but now that he is on the way to recovery. Let's keep it going. Really let us dance on your show.
  9. Be criticized or rejected? “Let them” criticize – I am sure that people have something to say whether they love my show or don't play with me because of “politics”. I already had the venue said that people drop by to protest myself. This is all I ever want to do in general. My dream with Oy Vey is to record people with different backgrounds. But when I am protested or criticized, I greet all smoke and how Mel Robbin's theory proves the point. “Leave them” do it! (Buchreferenz) But if you are an artist and build yourself in a facet, the theory “let her” is great when you are told to many in life. Everyone has a hater in a way. This is SXSW. Simply play and promote and appear and do the work you should do.
  10. Get a taco – If in Rome, they do like the Romans. If in Texas, they do the Texans. Get a Taco, take a picture/video and send it to my family group chat.
  11. Run – Running was very therapeutic for me. I believe in a higher performance, so I plan to meet someone and maybe run from a show and to look at them in my running shoes. I want to enjoy SXSW before going back to the health situation in which I am with my family, and I can take that with me when I go back. The spirit and hustle and bustle of SXSW will run and sweat with me, no matter what happens. For this reason I will be for a run!
