Kyle Freeland to start the opening day for Rockies

Kyle Freeland will be the opening starter of Colorado Rockies again.

Colorado manager Bud Black announced his choice on Sunday, 12 days before the team in Tampa Bay. The move is not surprising because Freeland's consistency and his previously strong spring formation form.

This is the fourth opening day for Freeland and his third one after the other.

In addition to his latest starts for season starts, he was also Colorado's starter on the opening day in Miami in 2019. During this excursion, the 31-year-old from Denver threw Denver 7 Innings with 2 goal in a 6: 3 victory of 6: 3 Rockies.

All parties involved hope that it will be better than last year when the Arizona Diamondbacks shot him on the opening day for 10 deserved runs in 2 2/3 innings of work. The blocking fire was part of a 14-lying third inn in a 16: 1 shell.
