La Puente petrol station employee in point-blank range, video shows

La Puente, California (KABC) – The shocking surveillance video shows that a petrol station employee with raised hands was rotated by a predatory suspect in La Puente in the point-blank range.

The shootout took place on Friday at 9:30 p.m. at an Arco petrol station in the 400 block of the Workman Mill Road, according to the Sheriff department of the Los Angeles County.

The film material shows two employees behind the shop switch when a person who is dressed in black comes past a turnstile and confronts one of the employees.

The suspect immediately takes out a weapon and points it to the employed Miguel Cid. Cid lifts his hands and takes a few steps forward, possibly to the cash register, but is suddenly shot.

CID falls to the ground in pain and seems to cling to his chest after the film material when it begins to bleed. A ball was later removed from his chest.

Cid's brother happened to be nearby and enters the shop, but rushes out when he sees the shooter.

The victim's family says that an arrest was made, but the MPs could not confirm whether this was the case.

The family of CID has set up a Gofundme page to support the medical editions in continuing treatment.
