Lady Trojan have a good start to the starting season '25

Sterling-es was an impressive opening for the Mendota Girls' Track team for the route season when four first placements conquered in the first chance invitational on March 15 in the Sterling Westwood Indoor facility. No team scores were kept.

Sophomore Mariyah Elam was the leading with three of the four top surfaces. She ran a victory time of 9.67 in the 60-meter dash, took the high jump with a measurement of 5-4 and took first place in the triple jump with a distance of 34-2. The other first place efforts went to Aby Buettner in the long jump with a jump of 15: 2.
