Lavell Jackson joins football staff

Lindenwood Football head coach Jed Stugart has announced the addition of Lavell Jackson to his employees as a co -trainer. He will guide the broad receivers.

“We are very happy to be reunited with coach Jackson and welcome him to our program,” said Stugart. “He was a former player and graduate assistant of me and has the heart of a trainer who embodies the culture of our program.”

Jackson comes to Lindenwood after having spent the last seven seasons in the state of Minnesota as a defensive baking trainer. In March 2023, Jackson was appointed deputy defensive coordinator. In 2022 he was given the football observation list of the football shovel.

During his time in Mankato, Minnesota, Jackson led the Vikings to five playoff appearances of NCAA Division II, while playing the championship game in 2019. Jackson helped lead several all-conference artists, including three all-Americans and an NSIC defensive newcomer to the year. During his time in the rod, Minnesota State put together a record of 63-17.

From 2014 to 2017, Jackson worked as a defensive coordinator and deputy head coach of the Bethany College Football team in Lindsborg. During his time at the Swedes, Jackson trained 10 all-Kac student athletes and helped Bethany in the 35th best pass defense in the Naia in the 2015 season.

Before he came to Bethany College, Jackson spent a season on the Missouri Valley College, where he trained the defensive back and three all-Haac student athletes. It also served as a co -trainer at Sioux Falls two stations. During the 2010 season, Jackson worked as an assistant defensive backer coach when he helped his team 13: 1 place and a performance in the Naia National Championship Game. He would return to the Cougar Coaching employee in 2013 as a Cornerbacks trainer of the team.

Born in Sioux Falls, the native Harvey, Illinois, also spent a season at the Midamerica Nazarene University and the Thorton Township High School. In Midamerica Nazarene, Jackson served as a defensive baks trainer with academic and recruitment coordinator tasks. During the 2012 season, his defense took first place in both pass defense as well as in the Pass defense efficiency and in defense in NAIA.

In Thorton Township, he worked as a co-defensive coordinator, special team coordinator and as a defensive-back trainer when he helped his team for a second place in the conference and a publication of the state tournament.

Jackson spent four seasons at the University of Sioux Falls as players, including two seasons in which he helped U.S. in 2008 and 2009 at NAIA championships. In 2009 he received all-GPAC honors as a punt returnee.

Jackson acquired his bachelor's degree in communication at Sioux Falls in 2010. In 2013 he also received his master's degree in organizational management of Midamerica Nazarene.
