Leon County's schools delay the start times for Wednesday due to the expected storm

TALLAHASSE, Florida (WCTV) – Leon County's schools will delay the beginning of all schools on Wednesday for one hour, as a series of storms that are expected to sweep in the region this morning.

According to the school district, the schools begin at the following times:

• The high schools start at 8:30 a.m.
• Middle schools start at 10:30 a.m.
• Elementary schools start at 9:30 a.m.

The bus lines are expected to start an hour later than normal, the school district wrote in a social media post on Tuesday afternoon.

According to LCS, no changes to the dismissal or after school before school activities were made.
