Lightning strikes for at least one house fire accused

Robertson County, Tennessee (WSMV) – Strong thunderstorms brought heavy rain, gusty wind and flash over the middle of the middle on Saturday morning.

Smokeybarn News reported two confirmed lightning strikes in Robertson County.

A fire took place in a house in Mount Sharon Road in the southern part of Robertson County. The pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department was able to successfully delete the fire.

It is believed that a fire in a second house was caused by a lightning strike.

Firefighters were called into the house in the 4500 block of the New Cut Road. Firefighters have not confirmed whether the fire in the house was actually caused by a lightning strike.
