Lincoln man with untreated mental illnesses Deadly shooting in Indiana Laundromat

Lafayette, ind. (Koln) – Police in Lafayette, Indiana, has completed her investigation into a WASHSALON shooting held by a Lincoln man, in which two people – including the shooter – and two more were violated.

The authorities identified the shooter as a 73-year-old Louis McGlothin, who had lived in Lafayette as a child. The investigators found that he planned the attack and suffered from severe, not diagnosed psychological health problems. During the examination, with the help of the Lincoln Police Department, officials revealed years ago, which was recorded on his intention.

McGrothlin left Lincoln on the morning of December 5th and arrived in Lafayette that evening. At 7:39 p.m. he entered Lafayette laundry and started shooting indiscriminately. Surveillance material showed that he went a minute later and shot himself into his head outside.

The officers arrived a few minutes later and no longer found McGlothlin in the parking lot. Inside, the police discovered three shot victims.

According to the authorities, the 35-year-old Keith Ford was killed at the shootout. Two others survived their injuries.

McGrothlin was hospitalized in a critical condition and died on December 7th.

The police said McGlothlin had no known connection to the victims and probably aimed at the laundromat because he recognized the area from his childhood. Without further investigations, the authorities have now closed the case.

The Lafayette police released a video on Thursday, in which the incident was described to enable transparency. Warning: The video shows and contains details of the recordings that some may feel worrying. 10/11 decided to record only part of the video that can be seen in the video player above.
