Little Rock host Recycling Day; Encourages the residents to bring electric waste, plastic and more

The first day of the Little Rock Recycles of the New Year will take place on Saturday, March 1st.

With Little Rock Recycles Day, residents can dispose of electronic waste, plastic bags, glass, documents for shredding and much more.

The office of the city of Little Rock sustainability, Little Rock Zoo and Little Rock Beautiful work together to plan these events over a quarterly year.

The recycling decline from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The following elements are accepted:

  • Single stream recycling (plastic bottles and jugs, cardboard, paper, aluminum and steel cans)
  • Plastic bags (and other soft plastic packaging such as shrink pack)
  • Glass
  • E-waste (all with a power cable, except refrigerators and window climate systems)
  • Bicycles
  • Documents for crushing
  • Household goods and textiles
