Officials of public security ask the residents in several parts of the city to evacuate the early Sunday morning, since a forest fire has grown to 600 hectares in the non -living country between Carolina Forest and Highway 90.

Shortly after 3 a.m., the residents were asked to evacuate by Arrow Wood Court, Indianola Court and the Tuckahoe Road in the Walkers Walkers district and the Coupon Drive from Summerhill Drive to the community center in Covington Lakes in Carolina Forest, and the Cowington Drive because of the ongoing runfire near the houses.

Officials say that the fire is raging behind the Avalon district, which was evacuated, as well as the Indigo Bay, the Farm and the Summerlyn district.

“Uncepted districts are currently not under evacuation arrangements,” says a public information message from Horry County. “Nevertheless, all residents of Carolina Forest should continue to monitor the forecast, register to receive Code Red emergency warnings and to be prepared with a” go-bag “and an emergency plan if an evacuation is called in their neighborhood.”

If there is evacuation in your neighborhood, the public security staff will knock on the doors by the neighborhood in order to inform the residents about the risk. “Act quickly if you are said to evacuate,” said the county.

About 410 employees occupy the fire and use at least 127 fireplace. The fire is at least 600 acres, whereby the fingers extend in different directions. Officials are still not sure how the fire was created.

The staff will continue this incident until the fire is contained, the county said. The local authorities for public security support together with partners from all over the region and the state.

The fire started to grow on Saturday, March 1st, since the district is under a fire due to dry and windy weather.

In the past few days, a few forest fires have taken place in the county, including a 100 hectare fire in the Sandridge community Conway.
