Live updates: New Tornado watches for Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Here is what is to know

When Southern Mississippi is exposed to a rush of Tornadian storms, a large family spends their Saturday in a “safe room” from Cinderella.

The family lives in Taylorsville, a small town in Smith County, which was in just hours on Saturday under three different Tornado warnings.

Stacy Bryant Hawkins, 59, said she could feel “suck” when a likely Tornado hit Taylorsville on Saturday afternoon.

“Only the wind blows. It really gets quiet when you come close, but suddenly the rain came with a force. We saw how the likely Tornado passed my back pasture, ”says Hawkins. “It was more of a roaring sound.”

Your house had no damage, but Hawkins is concerned about what will happen to the rest of the day.

She fears the most that her family members are injured, especially her 84-year-old mother, who did not want to leave her home from Taylorsville.

“I'm very afraid of bad weather. We were in our house for 23 years and therefore I insisted that a safe space was built, ”she says CNN.

Her family has spent the last few hours in and from their “safe space” on the first floor of their house. Since Smith County gets many tornados, the family decided to create the rain room in her house, said Hawkins.

Several family members were looking for protection in their house, including their daughter -in -law, their sister -in -law, a two -year -old and four dogs.

Your brother -in -law wasn't that luck. His house in Taylorsville has just scored a direct hit, Hawkins told CNN.

“You have a tree in your main bedroom,” she said. “I know that many friends are over there to help them and my husband and son, but I don't know what they will do.”
