Livingston County House Fire Rekindles, Sparks Field Fire

A Thursday house fire in Livingston County was sparked again on Friday and triggered a natural cover fire.

The Sheriff's office announced on its Facebook page that the fire in the field and in the 4000 block of the US Highway 65 and in the areas south and east of this location.

Officials said the house was originally burned on Thursday, but it sparked Friday again.

The residents of this area were recommended to evacuate when the crews burn and protect the structures on the way of the flames.

In the early afternoon on Friday, the Sheriff reported that the fire was mostly included and was carefully monitored on FlareUps.

On Friday afternoon, the Livingston County Emergency Management Agency and Chillicothe Fire Department announced that there is now until 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The ban includes the entire city of Chillicothe, Missouri and the entire Chillicothe Fire District No. 1.
