Local man arrested for murder and kidnapping in the investigation of Mountain Park

Mountain Park, Okla (Kokh) – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and the Mountain Park Police Department (MPPD) arrested a local man for murder and kidnapping first degree.

According to OSBI, MPPD officers responded to a shooting discussion on March 14 at around 2:30 a.m. in a residence on State Highway 183.

On arrival, the officers discovered 63-year-old Sandy Killian with a gunshot wound.

A first examination identified the suspect as a 52-year-old Chad Carl Cummings.

A search command was carried out in Cummings' residence.

Osbi found an adult woman in a back room that she safely recovered.

Cummings was arrested and booked into the prison of Kiowa County, based on the information collected.

He is charged with kidnapping and murder.
