Local man arrested for murder and kidnapping in the investigation of Mountain Park

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and the Mountain Park Police Department (MPPD) arrested a local man for murder and kidnapping first degree.

According to OSBI, MPPD officers responded to a shooting discussion on March 14 at around 2:30 a.m. in a residence on State Highway 183.

On arrival, the officers discovered 63-year-old Sandy Killian with a gunshot wound.

A first examination identified the suspect as a 52-year-old Chad Carl Cummings.

A search command was carried out in Cummings' residence.

Osbi found an adult woman in a back room that she safely recovered.

Cummings was arrested and booked into the prison of Kiowa County, based on the information collected.

He is charged with kidnapping and murder.

This is an ongoing examination.
