Lola Young calls hatred about her viral reaction to Jades British victory

After an intensive troll, Lola Young spoke about her reaction to Jade's victory in the 2025 British.

On Saturday (March 1) Lola Young celebrated her Brit Awards debut. Not only did she carry her single 1 single 'Messy' live on the Brits stage, but was also nominated for the best pop -act at the ceremony together with Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Myles Smith and Little Mix Icon Jade.

Jade took home the best POP -ACT and gave a moving speech. Lola Young's reaction also became viral online. Lola was shot to support, but people accused her of being rude, not to smile and she was suspended intensive trolling.

Now Lola has published a video in which the counter reaction appeals and called the people who sent her hatred.

Lola went to Tikkok yesterday (March 3) and explained what happened in the British. She said: “The British were incredible. I had the best time. I was just glad to be there, being happy, being nominated and so happy for Jade that she won.” She then added: “I know that I had B —- Face. I just didn't know that I was filmed. I am so happy for you.”

Lola spoke to the comments about her and then said: “It is funny because I returned home and honestly I came home and read the comments under the videos and I just felt an absolute one.

Lola gave her advice to her future herself and said: “Don't listen to stupid idiots sitting on your telephones.” She continued: “At the end of the day, Lola, you are fine. You are not a hit miracle, you haven't even got your next goal. Keep on, baby, I love you and I am proud of you that you did what you did yesterday.”

Lola ended the video with the statement: “And to everyone else who reads hatred and feel affected by it, F-Sie because they at least get hatred because they don't get anything. And they certainly don't get a D-das.”

Lola's video has been viewed over two million times since then, with people praising her to close the hatred. In the comments one person said: “Hasser will hate it, but they don't appear on the British, right?” And “Girly who is the one who appears in the British you are”.

Another fan wrote: “People were terrible about everyone. Charli XCX, she, Jade, I think people just hate seeing others successfully and feeling comfortable behind their screens.”

Jade also defended Lola by writing: “Well said, people will always hate people.
