Los Angeles Chargers rent another former coach in Michigan

It sounds like the former offensive coordinator of Michigan and quarterback coach Kirk Campbell will reunite with Jim Harbaugh in Los Angeles. According to a report by Matt Zenitz from 247sports, the chargers Campbell will stop as an offensive assistant.

Campbell came to Harbaugh's employees in Michigan in 2022 as an offensive analyst. In 2023 he was promoted to the quarterback coach, where he worked with the former pick of the first round JJ McCarthy. His success in this role led to an campaign of 2024 as an offensive coordinator of the team under head coach Sherrone Moore in the first year. Under Campbell's leadership, however, Michigan's offensive fought and ended the 2024 season to the worst of the country. The most important topics included quarterback performance and a lack of creativity in play calling, which disabled the offensive efficiency.

Despite the high expectations, the crime showed no significant improvement throughout the season. As a result, Moore decided to separate from Campbell after completing the regular 2024 season and to mark the end of his term as an offensive coordinator.
