Luke Hitchcock sets up the school record in the 800 m near Challenge Cup

Irvine, California. -The Cal State Fullerton -Athletics team traveled along the street to play on the annual Challenge Cup from UC Irvine on Saturday. After a strong performance at the Ben Brown invitation, the Titan's men and women both ended the meeting in third place.

The Fullerton Womment team scored 151 points, which fell behind the 163 points of UC Irvine and 165.50 points in the state of Long Beach.

The men were able to score 135 points behind the 202 points of UC Santa Barbara from 161.50 and Long Beach State.

The ray of hope for the titans took place late in the meeting in the men's 800m Luke Hitchcock I had a strong late kick to consolidate his name on the 800 m actors in the Fullerton Record Books 1: 49.36. Hitchcock's time was only second to Ucis Angel Corderos 1: 48.88 in the event.

Jocelyn Alexander Had a busy meeting when she reached the eighth of all time for Fullerton in the shot with a brand of 13.24. She also faced eight in a discus with a brand of 43.14 m.

The 4×100 -M relay team of women, which consisted of CharltonPresent DiePresent FairclothPresent And Davis finished her race in first place with a time 45.78. The women moved to the seventh place ever for the titans.

Danette Haygood squeaked in the triple jump with a brand of 12.03 m into the top 10 for Cal Stae Fullerton.

On the men's side, Brayden Bitter Took first place in the men's shot in the second week in the second week with a best of the season of 17.97 m. This was good enough to surpass his 17.94 m throw on Ben Brown invitation and to move into the fourth position ever at Cal Street Fullerton.

Josh Hornsby moved with his 13.98, who earned him the top position in the event and the fifth place ever for the titans.
