Shivaratri Parana (brings the quick time) – 6:48 a.m. to 8:54 a.m.

Ratri First Prahar Puja Time – 6:19 p.m. to 9:26 pm

Meanwhile, followers watch a strict Nirjala Vrat (fasting without water) to show their commitment, self-control and dedication. They also sing 'Om Namah Shivaya', sing religious hymns to honor Lord Shiva, visit Temple, to give Lord Shiva and Maa Paravti offers, and seek blessings of God and the goddess. Pendants also give the Shiva Lingam a bathroom with water, milk, honey, curd cheese and ghee.
