Man dead in the officer who are shot in the Uinta County Business

The staff of the US marshal and the deputies of the Sheriff office of Uinta County were involved in a shootout at a local company on Wednesday, in which a suspicious was dead, according to the Sheriff's office.

The deputies of the sheriff helped the refugee group of the US marshal to receive arrest warrants for a person sought on Wednesday at 2:55 p.m., as can be seen from a explanation of the Sheriff's Office on Thursday.

In a telephone interview on Thursday with Cowboy State Daily, Sheriff Andy Kopp confirmed that the suspect was searched for in terms of both state and federal agencies and that at least one in the suspicion of crime on crimes on crimes. The suspect, a man, was not a resident, but in the area that people visited, Kopp confirmed.

The officials met the male when he arrived and he escaped the law enforcement authorities, says the explanation. A short foot track followed, and the suspect entered a occupied building.

The building is a place of business where it was an inmate at that time, said Kopp. He said this person left the building as soon as the suspect arrived.

A “short interaction” between the law enforcement authorities and the suspect developed, and the police staff fired their weapons, the explanation says.

Those on site immediately provided the suspect first aid and medical care, which was then brought to the Evanston Regional Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, the explanation said.

During the incident, no law enforcement authorities or residents were violated, it adds.

The explanation states that the suspect was identified, but his name is not published at this time.

In his interview, Kopp refused to discuss the type of interaction that was preceded by the shootout or whether weapons were found on or near the suspect. The Wyoming Department for Criminal Investigations is investigating the incident and Kopp said his department is working with the efforts of the agency.

Two MPs who were on site were put on the administrative leave while an internal review is carried out, the explanation says. Kopp said the MPs are on vacation because they were on site during the shootout, but declined to confirm whether one, both or none of them were shot.

“The office of the Sheriff of the Uinta district is for transparency and ensuring that the facts are thoroughly examined for this incident,” the explanation said. “The Uinta County's office works completely with the independent examination and will provide updates if necessary.”

The Wyoming Department for Criminal Investigations did not immediately answer an e -mail request for comment on Thursday.
