Man Dead, suspicious arrested after the fight at the DEKALB petrol station ends in Schüssen-WSB-TV Channel 2

Dekalb County, Ga. – One man is dead and another is in custody after shot at a petrol station in Dekalb County on Thursday morning.

Officers were called to Covington Hwy. Shortly after 10:15 a.m., they found a man who had been shot several times.

He was taken to the hospital, but later died of his injuries. His identity was not published.

The police say that 20-year-old William Cooper is charged with murder for malice.

Audrey Washington from Channel 2 Received a surveillance video that showed the drivers of a white Volvo and a red sports car next to each other.

In the video it seems that the drivers have exchanged words

“You see him in the car and run up there,” said a witness who asked not to be identified due to the severity of the crime.

According to the witness, someone from the red car of the person in the white Volvo approached.

Seconds later, the video showed a person twice in the white Volvo fire.

What has led to the deadly shootout is unclear, but the witness said that the victim and some other people tried to rob the alleged shooter in the past.

“You robbed him last week and see him again in the shop and tried to rob him again. I mean you can't rob people, ”said the witness.
