Man dies in Terrytown, JPSO, after a fatal fire

Terrytown, La. – According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's office, after a fatal fire, a house in Terrytown was found dead.

The firefighting teams and JPSO were on site in a house in the 700 block of the Mercedes Place around 1:40 a.m. Rauch from the house was visible on arrival.

After the fire had been deleted, a man was no longer reacted to the house, it says in a release. JPSO said the victim suffered from “fire -related injuries” and died at the scene.

In their first investigations, the authorities believe that the fire was random. The victim's identity has not been published at the moment.
