Man sexually attacked the missing teen

A man was arrested on Sunday after sexually attacked a teenager he had met on social media in his house in Bergen County, the authorities said.

The investigation began on Sunday after the NYPD informed Fort Lee's police department about a child from New York City, which was reported on Saturday as missing, the public prosecutor's office of the Bergen district announced on Monday.

The teenager, a girl between the ages of 13 and 16, began to communicate with her mother with her mother with her mother's cell phone (58), and the local police were able to climb the phone, according to a criminal complaint.

Detectives of the Fort Lee police department found the child in Marc Piovanetti's house. Jennifer Piovanetti, 50, was also in the residence, the office announced.

A spokesman for the office did not clarify the relationship between Jennifer and Marc Piovanetti. A criminal complaint said that they were members of the same budget.

Detective found that Marc Piovanetti met the girl on turnup, a social media application, and took precautions to take her, said the office.

He gave her marijuana and sexually attacked her in his house between Saturday and Sunday, the investigators said.

Detective learned that Jennifer Piovanetti was at home during the attack and was aware of the presence of the teenager, the authorities said.

Marc Piovanetti is also a registered sex offender, it says in the criminal complaint.

He was convicted of several crimes in New York City in 2017 and sentenced to 10 years of probation, according to online court records.

Marc Piovanetti was arrested on Sunday and charged with four sexual assault second degree, the Locking second degree, winning a child and two charges of winning a child third degree, which endangered the well -being of a child, the office said.

Jennifer Piovanetti was also arrested and accused of having endangered the well -being of a child and the well -being of a child, said officials.

They were both put into the care of the Sheriff office of the Bergen County until their first appearances in front of the Supreme Court of Bergen County said.

The office asked parents or legal guardians who found that his child received inappropriate online communication from Marc to contact their tips under (201) 226-5532.
