Man who is charged with the shot of the 15-year-old girl

Chesterfield, va. (Wwbt)-a man was charged with murder after a 15-year-old girl was shot in a car at the weekend.

On March 2, shortly after midnight, Chesterfield officers were called up for the 6,300 block of the Pewter Avenue for a person's report.

When the officials arrived, they found a 15-year-old girl who was shot and a man suffering from a life-threatening fireworks.

“After the examination, the adult man, who was identified as Roberto Pierre Elias Zaldivar (30) from colonial heights, Virginia, was arrested, and due to murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime with regard to the death of young people,” said the Chesterfield police.

The police say that Elias Zaldivar and the teenager knew each other.

“At this point, the investigation shows that this is an isolated incident and the police are not looking for any additional suspects,” said the Chesterfield police.

Elias Zaldivar is still in the hospital and is in the care of the district's office.
