Man who is shot in Fatal Bloomfield for murder, Gabreon Harrison

The 18-year-old was arrested after an almost six months of search. He was charged with a 17-year-old for murder.

Macon, Ga. – A man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a fatal shootout from Bloomfield, which took place in August 2024, as explained by a publication of the Sheriff office of the BIBB County.

The publication stated that the MPs had found 17 -year -old Johnquavis Rutledge on Wednesday in the 300 block of the Pursley Street. They had been looking for him since September 24th in connection with the death of Gabreon Harrison, 20.

On August 1st, around 10:15 a.m., Sheriff's MEP Harrison found Harrison in a house in the 2400 block of the Holland Drive. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead by Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.

An earlier publication of the Sheriff said that 17 -year -old Cris Blanco passed the investigators four days later. He was taken to Bibb County's prison and charged with murder.

Rutledge, before he was arrested, was followed by members of the US marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force who helped the Sheriff's office in the search. He injured his leg and received medical treatment.

Rutledge was brought to the law enforcement center Bibb County on Friday at around 12 p.m. and charged with murder. It is recorded without bond.
