Man who was charged with attempted murder, who was accidentally released from prison, now in custody – wpxi

Washington, Pa. – A man who is charged with attempted murder who was incorrectly released from Washington County's prison is again in police custody.

Commissioner Nick Sherman made an explanation on Wednesday afternoon and confirmed that Samuel Valle is back in custody.

Cara Sapida from Channel 11 is working on learning more about his arrest. She will have a live report on Channel 11 News at 4 p.m.

Valle was charged with attempted murder, serious assault and ruthless hazard after the police said he shot a man in a house in Charleroi in September 2023. He was accidentally released from custody in December, but the office of the district in Washington, the district prosecutor of the district in Washington, was only aware of the end of February.

Washington County's prison and Warten still did not respond to our inquiries about comments about Valles of random release.

Sherman said that the commissioner's office will “work with the district courts to determine where the error occurred and ensure that it does not happen again.”
