Man who was damped back when the death of the death of hockey player Adam Johnson

No criminal charges were submitted. There could be a variety of explanations why the investigation has extended in the past 15 months.

The 33-year-old Petgrave, who comes from Canada, described Johnson's death as a “tragic accident”.

The collision took place in the second period of a game in the Cup competition of the Elite Ice Hockey League.

Johnson, a native Minnesota who briefly played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, drove the puck in Sheffield's defense zone and turned to move inwards. Petgrave had another Panthers player in front of him and seems to have contacted. Then Petgrave's left skate raised when the defender began to fall and the blade Johnson hit the throat.
