Man who was killed in Hopewell after the dispute; Suspect in custody

Richmond, va. – A man was shot several times on Wednesday evening and killed in Hopewell.

The shootout occurred around 5.40 p.m. in the 1000 block of the Sunnyside Avenue. The police believe that the shootout happened after an argument.

Witnesses told the police that they gave the victim the HLW at the scene.

The 30 -year -old victim Kiandre Studivant was taken to a hospital in which he died of his injuries.

A suspect who has not been identified is currently custody. The police say there is no threat to the community.
