Man who was killed in officer shot in KCK

Wichita, Kan. (Kwch) – A man was killed in Kansas City, Kan, in a shot affected by the officer early Sunday morning.

According to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Brian Hilt from Kansas City, Mo., damaged property before it was a residential building in the 700 block of the Nebraska Ave. in Kck on Sunday around 4 a.m. Monitoring material showed that the handle had a gun.

At around 5:10 a.m., a firefighter reacted to a fire alarm. When they saw the damage to property, they demanded the reaction of the police. A person who lives in the apartment complex, named 911 shortly afterwards, to report a disorder with a weapon.

Two officials came across the handle in a hallway in the building. According to the KBI, shots were fired after the grip ignored commands to drop his weapon. Hilt was hit by shots and died at the scene. No officials were injured and the examination continues.
