Man who was skipped at the Court 25 years ago after Cary defeated

A Carpentersville man who was charged with another man 25 years ago – and then did not appear to the court – was arrested after an Algonquin traffic stop.

The 51-year-old Baltazar Huerta-Ruiz is charged with a heavy battery with a weapon, a class 3 crime and three cases of mob measures.

Huerta-Ruiz and five family members are mentioned in the criminal complaint, in which they claim that they hit three men with baseball rackets in Cary on May 6, 2000.

According to the reported reports at this time, one of the men was attacked by the group because he had demolished an arranged marriage to one of the family members of the suspect.

In a story of Northwest Herald, the police reported that the police said in 2000 that a tire and broken bottles were also used in the fight. The fight occurred in front of a house in the 7500 block of the Silver Lake Road and someone who lived there called the police.

On May 9, 2000, Huerta-Ruiz achieved 10% of a bond of $ 25,000 for the serious battery and mob action costs and was released from Mchenry County's prison. He did not appear on a trial in the case on July 18, 2000, and an arrest warrant was issued, as court files show.

In January, Huerta-Ruiz was run over due to a traffic violation in Algonquin. He was quoted because he had no valid driver's license and had never issued one. When the official carried out his name and saw the arrest warrant against his crime, Huerta-Ruiz was taken into custody, said Timothy Cooney, deputy head of operations at the Algonquin Police Department.

It is not known why Huerta-Ruiz was earlier in Cu Stody earlier or where he was in the past 25 years, said Cary Police Present Patrick Finlon.

On January 15, Huerta-Ruiz started in front of judge Tiffany Davis, who granted his pre-judicial release from prison with conditions. He must not leave the state without permission from the court, and it was condemned not to have contact with the co -accused or to complain witnesses, such as a court decision. Davis showed himself from the case and quoted in a order that she had followed the co -accused in this case.

The five other defendants, which were mentioned in the case, were convicted and sentenced to probation and fines. They were also instructed to pay reimbursement, such as records. Huerta-Ruiz will be due to court on March 21st. His lawyer could not be reached for a comment.
