Mann County Man County, who is charged with criminal murder in the mother's death

Unionville, TN – The Sheriff office of Bedford County charged a local man for criminal murder after a tragic discovery in the Unionville area.

On March 3, 2025, the MPs reacted to a residence in Davis Lane to maintain a welfare check. On arrival you contacted the 24-year-old Curtis Colten Edwards, a resident of the house. Further studies led to the discovery of the body of a 58-year-old woman within the residence. The authorities later confirmed that the late Edwards was a mother, and the foul was suspected.

In cooperation with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation overnight, detective work to process the scene and collect evidence. As a result of her investigation, Curtis Colten of Edwards was charged with criminal murder in connection with the death of his mother.

The Bedford County's office delayed the publication of information about the case until all the necessary family notifications were completed. Edwards are currently kept without bond in the course of the examination.
