Mann shot, killed by the police during the domestic dispute in Rosemore Garden's apartment in Glenside, Pennsylvania

Glenside, Pa. (WPVI) – What started as a call to domestic violence in a residential building in Glenside, Pennsylvania, turned into a fatal police shootout.

It happened in the Rosemore Garden's apartments in the 2300 block of the Rosemore Avenue around 11:15 a.m.

The police say that a young girl called 911 when her mother's friend took out a gun and fired the gun. Officers were there within seconds.

“Officers heard an additional shot, followed by screams, and immediately entered the apartment where an adult woman was inside,” said boss Patrick Molloy from the Abdington TWP. Police authority.

The police say that the officials broke down the door and two of them fired their weapons and hit the male suspects. He was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

“It is rare that we have to use fatal violence, but in this case these officials followed all the logs and training in relation to what they thought was hostage,” said Molloy.

Neither the woman inside nor the child were injured.

The officials involved are now on administrative leave, but the police say they are grateful for the result and that mother and child are safe.

“I am so grateful because our top priority when we put on a uniform, a badge and a weapon when we come to work every day is to protect innocent lives,” said Molloy.

Since it is a shootout involved by the police in Montgomery County District's District's Office's Office.

They have not released the identity of the suspect or officers.
