March Madness: Birmingham 2 region Bracket Cinderella, player to see, plan, opportunities and more

[More region breakdowns: Spokane 1 | Birmingham 3 | Spokane 4]

The NCAA women's tournament is only a few days away. Here is everything you need to know about the Birmingham 2 region.

South Carolina is the betting favorite for the entire tournament with just a little better chance than Uconn (+290). The Gamecocks are also the overwhelming choice of winning the region. Duke, the No. 2 seeds in Birmingham 2, is the next monastery for you (+6,600).

South Carolina has a very clear way to the final Four. The defending champion National Champions was just shy to earn number 1 in the tournament after rolling the SEC again. They won seven directly to end the year with double -digit numbers, and their bad losses seem to be far behind them.

The Gamecocks were under the coach Dawn Staley, which produced two national titles, four consecutive final. Although there is no clear star as the last two championship teams, this team is just as dominant. It will require a breathtaking effort and a little help to keep the Gamecocks from making the last four again.

If the game cocks are lost, it will very likely be in Tampa.

Let us give this title to Green Bay, who won the Horizon League and entered the tournament with a massive winning series of 22 games. The security guard Natalie McNeal leads the team with 14.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, and Alabama has been struggling lately. The Crimson Tide lost three of her last five, including a Stunner in the second round to Florida in the Sec tournament and is absolutely upset after her ice.

In the first round, look for either Columbia or Washington for Stun West Virginia in the first round. Columbia has hardly lost the Ivy League title to Harvard and is managed by Riley Weiss 17.8 points per game. Despite a difficult route, the Huskies ended the year until their season and won five out of six to do the tournament. West Virginia with a view of a team after making the Big 12 title game would not be so surprising.

Kitts may not be the Gamecocks in the rating, but it is a very reliable piece inside that the team works. She scored over 10.1 points and 7.9 rebounds all year round and had eight double double and a triple double in the season.

Blakes achieved an average of 23.2 points per game with the Commodores this season, which was the second best edition in the Sec. In the last month she scored 55 in the victory against Auburn, the second 50-point game of the year. Blakes can achieve a flat and absolutely lead Vanderbilt to a deep run.

Ferreira does not lead the beavers in the rating, but she has been on a heater lately. She led the team in all three goals of her tournament games at the West Coast Conference, which is why they are in the tournament in the tournament, and shyly shy to enable a double double. When Oregon State keeps its course, it is up to Ferreira.

South Carolina. It does not matter whether it is Duke or North Carolina – or a third option – that scream out of the lower half of this region to challenge the Gamecocks in the elite eight.

This region is to be losing in South Carolina. What happens afterwards remains to be seen.
