Wembley stadium connected by EE

Sarina Wiegman and Alessia Russo were against the press on Tuesday morning in the Wembley Stadium on Tuesday morning on Tuesday morning.

Here is what you had to say completely.

Wiegman about how the team adapts:

First, we work very hard and try to do every single game our best. What we do every time is that we want to check the game and do better tomorrow. We work on this and we can control that in order to be in top form. No game will be easy – the world has changed. We adapt and of course try to win every single game.

About how England has developed Spain since the last meeting:

I think we have developed further. You can no longer refer to the euro and the World Cup because so many new players come in. The game has also developed. We not only try to adapt, but also that the opponents have changed, with the nations League performing with different games at a much higher level what we want. We develop, fit and still try to improve every single game.

In the size of the game:

It's absolutely a big game, but I think if you play Germany and the USA, there are many big games at the moment because everyone improves the next level so quickly. It will be an exciting game again tomorrow and we look forward to it.

When learning out:

We play football to win games and we will try to be best tomorrow and to be connected as a team. What we want to do is to get more consistency and create dynamics in the game. Sometimes things are going really well and sometimes things don't go so well. We try to stay very neutral and say: “We are right now and we want to go forward, what do we have to do?” Hopefully that will win us tomorrow.

Russo at the World Cup final 2023: Russo:

For me, revenge reflects a bit about the past. We are a new team and now have many new faces and many new properties in the squad. We don't want to look back. Obviously it hurt. You can ask any player who was in this game and it was not nice to lose it, but we want to go forward. We have a new opportunity – we are back in Wembley and we have all our fans there and look forward to it.

When returning to Wembley:

It is an iconic place. (Laia) Codina was so humming when she found out that the game was in Wembley. It's nice that you come home to us. We are really proud and grateful to play here so often. It really feels like a home for us with the fans and the energy around the place. It is nice that we can share this with other players who deserve to play in these stadiums. It will be nice to be tested against the best, but also to be at home.

How much England has changed:

Each team goes through different processes after tournaments. In our process, we now have a new team and many different, new faces and a lot of energy around the place, which is beautiful. We feel good and we are in a good place as a team. We also enjoy our football, which is nice. Camps are a really gratifying place to come in, and I think it is a place where people can thrive.

The team was able to give Spain on the Boost beat:

Winning games in general gives you trust as a team, but we learn a lot from performances that are not so positive. This is part of football and that is part of the trip we are on. Ultimately, we want to be our best for the euro, and this is another massive step on our trip. We want to test ourselves against the top opposition and we have with our group in the Nations League. It's really a good preparation, but at the moment these are the games you want to play as a player.
