Maurice Jackson speaks of being terminated as head coach of Aquina's football

Rochester, NY – In a surprising decision, Maurice Jackson ended on Monday as a Cheff football coach of the Aquinas Lil Irish. Jackson decided to be released instead of stepping back or separating each other, and said: “I decided to discharge because questions had to be answered.”

This decision comes after a successful season, with the team winning its first section championship since 2018.

News10NBC turned to the Aquinas Institute, in which it was found: “This decision was made after careful examination and in accordance with the best interests of our institution, its mission and our students.”

Jackson believes that Race has played a role in his termination and mentioned that he has expressed concerns about the team problems with the team.

“These were cases that had to do with races that were not handled that influenced the football team,” said Jackson.

While Aquin did not make any further comments, Jackson mentioned that he was informed about concerns of players and parents in relation to the direction of the program.

“I have not created any problems, there is nothing that someone can say that I did wrong what the program violated,” said Jackson.

When the Lil Irish search for a new head coach, Jackson is still unsafe to return to coaching. However, he remains proud of his contributions.

“I know that I have shaped the football program well,” said Jackson.
