Races, from city councils to school authorities. And a big one for the city. The mayor breed. The long -serving mayor Walt Maddox is in front of Denson for the second time. Our WVTM 13 Zoe Blair covers this impartial choice for us tonight and she comes to us and lives in Tuscaloosa. Zoe, how is the election day going? Brittany with less than three hours until these surveys close, we have worked to find out how the turnout was. When many of these residents have met the surveys. But at the moment the city does not provide this information. What we know is that some of the offices in this building, the Tuscaloosa town hall, can have some new inmates after this election. All seven members of the city council are on the ballot this evening. We already know three of these city council members. Norman Crow, District Four, Lee Busby and District 5, the current President Kip Tyner. They all ran unhindered, so they will definitely serve for the next four years. But as you said, the big choice will be for the mayor's race this evening. If Walt is chosen Maddox, it is his sixth term. And before the election we sat down with Maddox and Farrell last week. Tuscaloosa organizes its local elections in 2025 on Tuesday, March 4.

The surveys are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
