The Michigan Ministry of Transport will start two projects in Midland County on March 17 and have an impact on the M-20, M-30 and US 10.

The M-30 bridge over US 10 is completely reconstructed. The new bridge comprises a 14 -foot width of non -motorized path on the west side.

This project of $ 7.3 million is expected to be completed in mid-August.

M-30 is closed over US 10 during this project. The traffic towards the south is covered via the US 10, the W. River Road and the eastern US 10-US-10 to the south to the south to the south. Traffic to the north is introduced back to the M-30 to the north via the US 10, the strong road and western US 10-US-10.

During this project, intermittent closures of US 10 will also be required for bridge breakdown and beam settings. Notifications are sent before these closures.

Mdot will also start a resurfacing project on M-20 from M-30 East to Currie Parkway. The project comprises 5.72 miles hot mix asphalt grinding and two courses that occur, curb and gutter, shoulder extension, joint repairs, storm channel, guardrail improvements and road markings.

The project of $ 21.9 million will begin on March 17 and will be completed by mid-November.

The data traffic is maintained in this project using lane closures and traffic shifts. A lane is open in every direction.

MDot will have a third project in Midland County this year, although no start date has been set.

The $ 74,415 horizontal curve advisory sign placement project includes the placement of chevron alignment and advisory speed signs in several locations at the counties of the US-127, US 10 and M-61 in Clare, Isabella and Midland.

The project takes two weeks and will take place at some point this year.

Mdot continues to work on the Buttles Reconstruction project, which changes the one-way buttles Street (US 10) from three lanes to two lanes.

In autumn 2025 there will be some moving or burial activities, but a start date will still have to be announced.

The construction of this project begins in spring 2026 and is expected to be completed in autumn 2027.
