Melbourne Clinic examines for hepatitis C outbreak

Melbourne, Fla. – A clinic in Melbourne is examined after several patients may have increased in the facility.

Dr. Lily J. Voepel operates the interventional clinic for pain treatment in the Harbor Road, in which three confirmed cases of hepatitis -c infections were directly associated, as a report by the Ministry of Health in Florida has emerged.

Hepatitis C, which cause liver failure and can be fatal, is mainly transmitted by contaminated blood. Although the disease is curable, it represents considerable health risks.
