Memphis called one of the top trend destinations in the USA

According to TripAdvisors Travellers' Choice Awards, Memphis has earned a place as one of the country's fastest rising travel destinations. The Bluff City was one of the five most important cities in the USA, based on an increase in positive reviews last year.

In the list “Top Trend Destinations”, locations are highlighted in which the travel consultants have become considerable growth. The ranking lists are determined by the user ratings from Tripadvisor over a period of 12 months.

“Memphis is a pilgrimage for music lovers who are looking for the birthplace of blues, soul and rock 'n' roll,” said Tripadvisor. “In Beale Street, toilet mobile phone wrote the first written blues music. Sun Records, in which legends such as Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash were recorded, are now a historical museum. Graceland, the second most common house in America, continues to attract visitors from all over the world to experience the king's life.

From the eight million entries from Tripadvisor, only 1% earn the prestigious name “Best of the Best”.

West Palm Beach, Florida, called for the top position on the trend list, followed by Santa Barbara, California; Cleveland, Ohio; and Kansas City, Missouri. Memphis was the only Mid-South City presented. However, Nashville secured the number 6 on the list of Tripadvisor's “Top targets”.

Apart from its deep musical roots, Memphis was recognized for its dynamic food scene, lively nightlife and the cheap climate.

“[Memphis] offers much more than music, ”added Tripadvisor. “With more sunny days a year than Miami, incredible food – do not miss the grilled ribs – fantastic art galleries and an electric nightlife have something for everyone.”

Tripadvisor Graceland, the National Civil Rights Museum and Sun Studio, emphasized under the must-see attractions. According to MBJ Research, these three locations welcomed almost six million visitors in 2023.
