Men's basketball set for the Senior Day inclination with Jacksonville State

Miami – The FIU men's basketball program is on Saturday afternoon for the last home game of the 2025 season, of which Jacksonville State in Conference USA (CUSA) (Cusa) will double on Saturday afternoon.

The Panthers (9-19, 3-12 Cusa) accept the Gamecocks (19-10, 11-5 Cusa) at 2 p.m. in the Ocean Bank convocation center. The Fiu recently convincingly defeated the state of Kennesaw on Thursday evening and plunged the OWLS 76-61 at home. The Panthers took the command of the game in the first half, held a lead of 10 points during the break and ended the 15-point victory with 10 consecutive free throw.

Asim Jones And Dashon Gittenens led the rating with 15 points each and collided 17 free throws. As a team, FIU made a high season high of 34 free throws in 41 attempts.

For his career, Aybar is now sitting at 981 points, 19 shy of 1,000, who appear as a panther in his last home game. With the victory against KSU, head coach Jeremy Ballard Is now with 97 career winners.

When JSU and Fiu met at the end of January, the Panthers and Gamecocks fought in a closely contested affair that led to a four-point home win for Jax State.
