Meta divides leaks, fires 20 employees for sharing confidential information

Meta has released around 20 employees to eliminate internal company information, which enhances the strict guidelines against unauthorized disclosures. The company warned that more cancellations could follow if it could be examined further.

“We tell the employees when they join the company and we offer regular memories that it is our guidelines to violate internal information regardless of the intention. We recently carried out an investigation, in which around 20 employees have ended to share confidential information outside the company, and we assume that there will be more. We take this seriously and will continue to take measures if we identify licks, ”Meta spokesman Dave Arnold told The Verge.

According to reports, Meta has dealt with increasing number of leaks in the past few months, including reports in which private meetings were described, one of which was led by CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Ironically, even a company -wide warning of LECKS was passed on to the public. The Chief Technology Officer Andrew Bosworth recognized the challenge, but said Meta made “progress in catching humans”.

The company has not announced the specific way of leaked information or the people involved. However, this procedure takes place in the middle of a wave of internal changes, including layoffs, political shifts and the shutdown of diversity programs. Many employees are already dissatisfied, and this latest step could further deepen the frustrations within the workforce.

Despite the internal counter reaction, Bosworth believes that LECKS is counterproductive. “People think:” If this goes out, the company will force things to change things. “In fact, the opposite is more likely,” he said recently in a meeting.
