The striker of West Ham, Mikhail Antonio, hopes to go for Jamaica for a sensation later this year despite his horror car crash in December, as Steve Mcclaren announced.
On December 7, the 34-year-old was taken to the hospital with a broken leg after being cut from the wrecks of his 260.00 pound ferrari by firefighting teams in Essex.
Antonio was caught for more than 45 minutes and was afraid of his life after colliding with a tree on the way home from a training session in Epping Forest.
He is already on the way to recovery and completed a recovery program in Dubai in February.
Now Jamaica head coach McCllaren says that Antonio wants to be seen in her qualifications in the World Cup for his national team in September.
“Mikhail came from non-league and prevailed in the Premier League, in top games in Europe and for Jamaica to play and worked everywhere,” said the 63-year-old.

Mcclaren said
'The effect [of the crash] Was terrible. He is confident that he will come back and that our qualification group of the World Cup in September, October and November will strive for summer time or hopefully.
“He is a real character from the field, always bubbling and great for the squad. We miss that.
“He says that the only thing he has is motivation. If warriors have motivation, they tend to achieve their goal.
“His goal is to be back in summer to help Jamaica.”
On Monday, Antonio returned an emotional return to the London stage and waved and clapped the team's 1-0 defeat against Newcastle in the Premier League.
