Midtown Salvation Army, treatment center closed after the fire

St. Louis, Mo (first Alert 4) – The Nonsense Army Service and the treatment center in Midtown closed after an electric fire on Friday.

After a release of the Salvation Army, the fire occurred on Friday evening, and the building experienced extensive fire damage and water damage through the Sprinkler.

All employees on site and 15 people who received treatment were certainly evacuated.

The Salvation Army says that the center will be temporarily closed during the inspections.

“Our Midtown employees were incredibly effective last night,” said Major Adam Moore, Commander in Greater St. Louis. “I recommend your efforts as well as those of the St. Louis City Fire and police stations to react quickly, in particular in view of additional storm and tornado threats that move around St. Louis at the same time.”

The center offers a number of services, including outpatient and living train management, the treatment of outpatient drug abuse and relapse prevention, family education and therapy, spiritual support and short -term living treatment for adults aged 18 and over. The Salvation Army also offers management to answer living space, medical, employment and other needs.

The Emergency Disaster Services team of the Salvation Army also sets into areas affected by the tornados and heavy storms in Missouri and Süd -illinois.
