Miles Sanders, cowboys agree to contractual after RB was released by Panthers

The Dallas Cowboys give the Backfield a little more depth after signing Javonte Williams at the beginning of this week.

According to Jeremy Fowler from ESPN, Carolina Panthers Free Agent, who runs back Miles Sanders, plans to sign at Dallas. After the publication of Carolina, Sanders will join the cowboys in a one -year deal.

Sanders, a second round from Penn State in 2019, spent the first four years of his career at the Philadelphia Eagles. After a career year in 2022, in which he increased 1,269 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, he joined the Panthers before the 2023 season.

In Carolina, Sanders looked at his production considerably while playing in the Backfield besides Chuba Hubbard. In 2023 he had only 432 rushing yards and a touchdown together with 154 meters through the air, even though he played 16 games.

Last season Sanders had a career depth of 205 rushing yards and two touchdowns with 148 yards and a touchdown through the air. He missed six games because of an ankle injury.

The Panthers opted to publish Sanders this low season because it should count against the upper limit for $ 8.175 million. Carolina saved the move 5.225 million US dollars.

After the Panthers Rico Dowdle, who had a career year with the cowboys in 2024 in 2024.

Dallas Backfield fought last year despite a good year of Dowdle with an average of 100.3 rushing yards per game, the sixth brand in the league. The cowboys have now added two freelance agents in Sanders and Williams, but it remains to be seen whether this will be enough to give them a reliable attack.
